Captive Abu Daoud’s wife appeals to save her husband’s life
Ahrar—The wife of hunger striker prisoner since 12 days, and the isolated in Al-Jalameh investigation center, Ayman Abu Daoud appealed the Palestinian leadership and the Palestinian factions to intervene and release her husband.
She denounced through Ahrar center for Prisoners studies and human rights the silence of the Palestinian street and leadership about her husband’s case and she called for a same solidarity as it was with hunger striker detainees specially, Samer Issawi who was on hunger strike for 8 months.
Fuad Al-Khuffash the center’s director said that Ayman was re-arrested on 13/2/2012 only few months after his release in the prisoners’ exchange deal. He had served seven years of his 36-year sentence and the occupation authorities were adamant on forcing him to complete his 30-year sentence according to the law issued against the liberated prisoners in the prisoners’ exchange deal.
Al-khuffash noted that the occupation moved Ayman to the isolation in Aljalameh investigation center to pressure him to end his strike and blocked any information about him to his family, which requires to move quickly, so as Issawi and Sharawneh’s suffering not to be repeated.
